Valentine's

And once again it is that time of year where we celebrate our love for one another. This year I thought it would be fun to turn Valentine's day cards into a project for the kiddo's, being we need stuff to keep ourselves entertained anyway!

When I got married we had lots of hearts, so I started digging to see what we had and what I could use up!

I found this heart punch I used for table decorations, and LOTS of envelopes waiting to get used! So I decided it needed to be square and it needed hearts. simple enough. Next up was leftover pink paper from baby announcements, and off we went!

the kids used a glue stick to attach the hearts. I then went and used double sided tape on parts that they didn't catch. They glued on eyes, a favorite craft object of theirs! and then they drew on a mouth, arms and legs. I had to let go of my desire for them to be perfect, and remember these were the kids projects and that their creations would be perfect!!

Attach a sucker in the hand and it looks like the heart is holding the sucker! Perfect and ready for preschool :)
