Dollar Store Valentine

I typically don't decorate for Valentine's Day, but at a dollar and a fun project with my preschooler, don't mind if I do!

After I walked away, D added a little touch of her own, as you can see below!

Bacon Ranch Dip

Fabulous, I could eat the whole thing myself...really.

Bacon Ranch Dip

Ingredients:

16 oz sour cream
1 packet Ranch dressing mix
3 oz bacon bits (in the bag not jar)
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Directions:

Mix together. Refrigerate 2-4 hours to let flavors mesh together.

Nutrition: 118 calories, in 16 servings

Thrift Store Find

Nothing beats a good find at the Thrift Store! Who can say no to $3? She had been bagging for a dress to play Princess in. This is for a woman and should be knee length, for my sweet D, it's a perfect length! She loves her too small Old Navy cardigan with jewels, so that of course tops it to keep her warm :)

The Nutcracker

I grew up dancing, so of course, I would enroll my daughter in dance! We are so lucky that our small town has a fabulous dance studio, and she gets to attend the one that I attended my entire childhood and her auntie attended!  A few weeks ago they put on the production of the Nutcracker, it was the 10th production (they do a ballet every other year). I was in the first 2, auntie in the next 7, and now D was in the 10th!

The amazing principal dancers, performing the Sugar Plum Fairy. She came from LA, he came from NYC. Back in my day of dancing, I danced with him, he was a few years younger, but we danced in a few of the larger studio productions together. Now if only he could have shared some of his amazing talent with me! ha!

It was a long week of practices late at night (for such a young girl), and 4 performances. She never once complained, and loved every second of it! made a mommy proud :)

Shirts, shirts, shirts

It is so sad how far behind I am at sharing anything...all of these pictures are from house #3, we are now living in house #5. But I still wanted to share for my own benefit to remember things I've made!

 Made for the twins of my dear hubby's cousin. These were some of my favorite shirts :)
